To Meet the Needs of a Growing Community
The Muslim population of Western Australia has grown tremendously over the past 10 years. More recently, there has been a major population shift resulting in over half of Muslims now residing in the southern suburbs of WA. As a result, the religious, social and civic needs of Muslims have expanded significantly.
Despite the establishment of several prayer Hall and other Islamic institutions the community as a whole, particularly women, youth and the Muslims residing in the west remains under served. The existing mosques are limited primarily to hosting regular prayers and are unable to offer the space and facilities to meet the needs of the entire family.
